Sec. 7-33a. Issuance of certificates of authority of justices of peace, notaries and Superior Court commissioners. The town clerk of a town wherein a justice of the peace, notary public or commissioner of the Superior Court resides or is employed is authorized to issue certificates of the authority of such person. History: P.A. 78-280 substituted “judicial district” for “county”; P.A. 81-34 eliminated the requirement that town clerks shall be deputized by the clerk of the superior court to issue certificates of authority, effective July 1, 1982.
